Boyles law
In Boyles experiments he
observed a fixed temperature, the volume of a gas is inversely proportional
to the pressure exerted by the gas." The experiment is simple. Constant temp pressured and voulume are inversely related.
Gay Lussac's Law
States that the pressure of gas being at a constant volume is directly related to its temp in kelvin. constant volume temp and pressure and directly related
Charles Law
Charles studied the compressibility of gases nearly a century after Boyle. In
his experiments he observed "At a fixed pressure, the volume of a gas is
proportional to the temperature of the gases law. constant pressure temp and volume are directly related cold loses volume hot gets more volume.
An example of Charle's law is when we did the crushed can in class. This happened because when the tempature went doen it caused the can to decrease and become a crushed can. a real life example is a balloon filled with helium on a winter day. this happens because the temp of the helium decreases and makes the balloon shrivel up.
An example of Gay Lussac's Sac's when we did the compressed bottle with the pump the volume inside the bottle the volume inside stays the same but the pressure and temp changed directly. an example is if you expose a can to a open flame that increses the pressure the molucluses bounce of the surfaces more often which cause it to blow up.
An example of Boyles Law is when we used the surenge to compress the marshmallow. when the molecules inside of the syringe were forced together the molecules inside the marshmallow were forced together also. An example of this law is when a plane starts to go up it is going from an area of high pressure where your ears are accustomed to, to an area of low pressure.
